Did you know that Phil Hardberger Park is home to more than one public art display?
The two new wildlife blinds on the Land Bridge and the golden glittering wheels in the Savanna, called “Golden Age,” are art structures brought to the park in collaboration with PASA: The Department of Arts & Culture in San Antonio. Its mission is to manage public art projects and programs that express the vibrancy and diversity of our community through art and place-making.
To visit the art in the park, give our suggested Art Walk a try. To begin, head toward the north end of the Urban Ecology Center to see Anne Wallace’s “Golden Age.”
Next, head to the Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge, to see the public art installation wildlife blinds designed by collaborative San Antonio artists Ashley Mireles and Cade Bradshaw.
Then, as you return to your car, stop by the display case at the Urban Ecology Center to see photography from Picture Your World students.

March is Contemporary Art Month
As part of this celebration, Lottie Mae Lounge will present the work of artist Jorge Villarreal in partnership with Blue Star Contemporary and the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy in a special pop-up exhibition, March 6-7, 2021 at Phil Hardberger Park.
