Master Naturalists are a dedicated group of volunteers who volunteer in a wide range of activities, from presenting programs, weeding invasive plants, to conducting wildlife surveys.
If you have attended a nature program in the park, you have probably met a Master Naturalist.
Applications are being accepted until Tuesday, July 13, for the next round of training. The training will run Thursdays from noon to 4 p.m., Aug. 26 to Nov. 11. Classes are held at the Phil Hardberger Park Urban Ecology Center.
