The Wild programs are designed to teach nature to children, ages 18-months-old to 6-years-old. Starting Out Wild is for preschoolers 18-months-old to 3-years-old and Growing Up Wild is fro 4- to 6-year-olds. These programs were designed by naturalist and educators. The program consists of lesson plans that incorporate songs, stories, puppets, projects, and physical activities for teaching about nature.
Please sign up for one class per month, your choice of Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays.
Monday, July 8 at 9 a.m. — Growing Up Wild Registration opens
These classes meet from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Salado Outdoor Classroom. Class is limited to 20 children. Registration is required.

Sept. 4, 5, or 6, Wed., Thurs. or Fri.: Owl Pellets
Oct. 2, 3, or 4, Wed., Thurs. or Fri.: Lunch for a Bear
